License Grant

  • HandyMote grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only
  • Lifetime license allows activation on up to 3 devices
  • You may not share, resell, or transfer your license key to others

Usage Restrictions

  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • You may not modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the software
  • You may not use the software for any illegal purposes
  • You may not remove or modify any copyright notices in the software

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in HandyMote software and related content (including but not limited to code, graphics, interface design) belong to the HandyMote team. Purchasing a license does not transfer any intellectual property rights.

HandyMote takes your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We collect very limited information, mainly including:

  • Account information: Email address provided during registration
  • Device information: Device identifiers for license verification
  • License information: Type of license purchased and activation status
  • Website visit data: Anonymous visit statistics collected via Umami

Data Storage

HandyMote's core functionality runs entirely within your local network, and control commands do not pass through any external servers. Account and license data is encrypted and stored with appropriate security measures.

Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. The website uses self-hosted Umami for anonymous visit statistics and does not collect any personally identifiable information.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day free trial so you can fully experience all features before purchasing. Please make sure the app meets your needs before buying.

Eligible for Refund

You may request a refund in the following cases:

  • Request made within 7 days of purchase
  • Software has major defects that cannot be fixed by updates
  • Software is incompatible with your device (device info required)
  • Duplicate purchase (accidental multiple purchases)

Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • More than 7 days since purchase
  • Software used in violation of terms of service
  • Issues caused by user's own actions (e.g., not reading instructions)
  • After receiving technical support that resolved the issue
  • Subjective belief that software doesn't meet expectations (please use the 7-day free trial before purchasing)

Refund Process

  2. Provide your proof of purchase (order number/email)
  3. Describe the reason for refund and specific issues encountered
  4. We will respond and process within 3 business days

Refund Timeline

After refund approval, funds will be returned via the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Special Cases

  • Lifetime licenses: Not eligible for refund after 30 days from purchase

Termination

Your license will automatically terminate if you violate any provision of these terms of service. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Modified terms will be effective when posted on the website. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
